Fun Fun Fun! Join us in the intimate surroundings of the upstairs room at the Royal Pug for another night of  up close and personal comedy from three of the funniest people from the UK comedy circuit!  You lucky people. Boom!

Line up:

Jake Lambert

Jake made it to the semi-finals of the BBC New comedy Award within 6 months of his first gig, allowing him to perform on both BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio 2. His joke writing has lead him to write for such shows as 8 Out of 10 Cats, BBC'S Mock The Week, and E4's Virtually Famous and has gone on to receive a plethera of nominations including The Magners New Comedian of the Year 2015, and the prestigious Leicester Mercury New Act of the Year 2015. He also made it to the final of the English Comedian of the Year and the Amused Moose Laugh Off Final, 2016 and in 2017 & 2018 Jake was tour support for Seann Walsh, Rob Beckett, Romesh Ranganathan, Kerry Godliman and Tom Allen. Phew.

Alasdair Beckett-King

Alasdair won New Act of the Year (formerly Hackney Empire) in 2014 and has featured on BBC radio as a comedian and sketch writer. He’s performed stand-up across the UK, in the Glastonbury Cabaret Tent and at the Edinburgh Fringe as part of the Pleasance Reserve. He won the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year in 2017.

Howard Read

Explosive comedian from London who is very tall and very silly, with his homages to lesser known fruit and vegetables and snippets of subverted classic hits. He is also an award-winning animator and often uses his talents to great effect in his comedy performances, including of course,  shows with his cartoon sidekick 'Little Howard' which led to an appearance on the Royal Variety Performance in 2009.
